Recently,we have shared more things about the rayon fabric with our customers. We believe that you have benefitted a lot from what we shared. And today,we will also continue our topic related to the rayon because many people doubt that is rayon a better fabric for clothing.

As for this question, everyone has their own opinion. Here we quote the opinions of those who have more authority in the rayon fabric and clothing area.

Firstly, let's listen to the opinion of Tracy Holzman,a fashion design instructor in London.

"Please clarify “better” in what way? There are environmental and toxic problems with both textiles, I am sorry to say. So I will answer the environmental aspects of your question, not the apparel fabrication aspects. A book titles “ Fashion Victims” clued me in to the toxic nature of Rayon."

"Rayon is a fiber produced from recycled wood pulp or bamboo cellulose processed by a combination of many chemicals involving carbon disulphide, sulfuric acid, ammonia, acetone and caustic soda to bear regular washing and constant wearing. The carbon disulphide emitted from Rayon fabric can cause nausea, headache, vomiting, chest and muscle pain and insomnia as well as the toxins released from Rayon can also occasion tissue necrosis, anorexia and Parkinson’s disease for people who regularly wear clothing made of it. It is evident that Rayon is a hazardous fabric for people, but its chemicals disposed in the factory effluents can also affect the Eco-system by polluting the water, decreasing the plant's growth and shortening animals' life. "

"But now, with the development of technology, some rayon manufacturer has mastered the high tech to escape the toxic problems,so choose the qualified rayon fabric manufacturer is the prominent thing."

Secondly, let's see what one dyed fabrics manufacturer say:

"I'm not sure there is one correct answer to this question - it really depends what you want to use it for. Rayon, or any synthetic fibre tends to be softer and therefore drapes better. On the other hand, 100% cotton tends to be a bit harder and isn’t as flowing as rayon.

A lot of people cannot wear fabric made from synthetic fibres at all - they itch and the fabric irritates their skin. Other people will only wear clothing made from organically grown, natural fibres. Other people don't really care what the garment is made from - it must fit well and look good."
